SensiFlood’s cloud infrastructure is built on the Amazon Web Services platform, providing processor and storage resources in the most secure and reliable cloud system available.

SensiFlood Flood Sensor Network system development and testing began in 2017. The original development work was funded in-part by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate to accelerate commercial availability of low cost, rapidly deployable flood inundation sensor network based on rapidly-evolving Internet-of-Things (IoT) technologies. Today, SensiFlood systems are deployed in several U.S. states. Evigia Systems, the developer of the system, launched the SensiFlood Division in 2020 to expand product offerings and commercial market development.
